Visas Tourism – Other Countries
Please follow the link to see the list of countries with which Paraguay has visa suppression agreements.
If your country is on the list with the type of passport you have, you do not need to apply for a tourist / visa.
Citizens of countries that are not on the list above must comply with the following requirements:
- → The applicant must be present at the Consulate to apply for the visa.
- → Visa application fully completed and signed.
- → ORIGINAL Passport: The Consulate will not issue a visa without the original passport. The passport must be valid for at least six (6) months.
- → A recent photo, size 5 X 7cm, white background (passport type)
- → Travel itinerary
- → Provide an official or company letter stating purpose of the trip in case of an official or business trip.
- → For minors, the visa application form has to be signed bu both parents and presented along with the original birth certificate of the minor. If the minor is traveling alone, with one parent only or a third party, an authorization signed before a public notary is required along with a copy of the ID cards of both parents.
- →Your legal status in the United States (Green Card, American Visa, Entry Stamp.
- → Bank statement for the last 6 months
Fees:
- →The payment must be made in money order or cashier's check payable to the CONSULATE OF PARAGUAY. No personal checks, credit card or cash are accepted. Please note that the payments must be in US Dollars.

Visas on Arrival
Passport holders from Australia, Canada, the United States of America, New Zealand and the Republic of China (Taiwan) can obtain a Arrival Visa at the Silvio Pettirossi international airport in Asuncion.
The requirements to obtain a Visa on Arrival are:
- Valid Passport
- Pay the fees in cash at the Airport.

- → Passport holders from Canada USD 150.00
- → Passport holders from United States of America USD 160.00
- → Passport holders from New Zealand USD 140.00
- → Passport holders from Qatar USD 100.00
- → Passport holders from United Arab Emirates USD 100.00
- → Passport holders from the Sultanate of Oman USD 100.00
